Time off to vote: Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each Election Day. If you are scheduled to be at work during that time, California law allows you to take up to two hours to vote, without losing any pay.
Dates: In order to be eligible to vote in the statewide election on: November 4, 2008 (General Election) Your registration must be postmarked no later than: October 20, 2008
